Saudi Couple Marries in the Red Sea

Hassan Abu Alala and Yasmine Daftardar, two sea and diving enthusiasts, chose to celebrate their wedding underwater. Surrounded by coral reefs and marine life, they exchanged vows deep in the Red Sea, with divers witnessing the unique ceremony.

The event was organized by a local diving group, Saudi Divers, led by Captain Faisal Flemban. The team surprised the couple by arranging an underwater celebration. “After we put on our diving gear, Captain Faisal and the team told us they had planned to celebrate our wedding right there under the sea. It was a beautiful and unforgettable experience,” Abu Alala told Gulf News.

For the big day, the bride wore a white gown, and the groom wore a black tuxedo—along with their essential diving gear, as shown in the viral photos.
